2. Make a Contract with me


When you place an order with me, you are making an offer to buy goods. I will send you an email to confirm that I have received your order.


Once your order has been reviewed I will email you again to confirm the acceptance of your order, and that a contract has been made between us.


In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that I have made a pricing mistake, I will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us, unless you state that you accept the changes specified and you still want to purchase the goods – in this case, I will confirm this with another e-mail.


Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary slightly from the image shown on the website – as per colours and motifs/patterns. The nature of the product is to be authentic, creative, personalised and individual. Please write in the comment field of the checkout form if you have any specific requirement about the product.


I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, the motifs, the sizes and all the specification of my products that appear on this website. However, I cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.


Whilst I try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided may be approximate and is provided in good faith.


This contract is covered by English law.


By placing an order with me, you agree to and accept these terms as well as the terms of website use – please see section 8.

3. How to place order


You can use my website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time. If you prefer to order by telephone you can do so by calling 0775 896 0242


Postage will always be via Royal Mail postal services 1st class, no extra postage fee will be applied unless and only if you specify that you require your goods to be delivered in a specific way for example guaranteed, confirmed, tracked, signed for or via any other carrier company – in those cases, please let me know in the comment field and we’ll discuss solutions and any extra fees.


You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.


We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.


Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.


All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current rate.


Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.


Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date. The delivery by Royal Mail 1st class aims to delivery the next day but please check the Royal Mail website for more further information.

4. Delivery Charges


Goods in stock will normally be dispatched within 2-3 working days and any estimated dispatch date can change without notice.


The Royal Mail deliver goods 1st class normally within 2-3 working days of dispatch – please check online.


Your order may arrive in more than one package.


I can post the goods anywhere in the UK.


All international delivery fees, to Europe or America must be paid in advance. Details of any extra fees will be e-mailed to you and you will need to pay before this postage – the payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal, please refer to the order number when paying.


Packages can be couriered if requested; please specify this in the comment section or contact me for further details. Extra charges may apply.


Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.


It is not possible to change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you.


Please check the goods on delivery, any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to me within a reasonable time.


If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let me know promptly.


Sometimes, for civil disturbance I may be prevented from dispatching your goods as planned. These might include things such as severe illness, accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or any force majeure. I will try to put things right as soon as possible however I can’t be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in dispatching your goods.


Goods not in stock:

If you order an item which is not in stock but needs to be made, I’ll contact you to agree on a timeframe and notify you when the item is ready to be dispatched. If the item is not in stock, you are still free to personalize your item or ask for changes agreed prior with me – please contact me for any details or please leave a comment in the field provided.

5. Cancellation and returns


You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail me: flowers@krisztinadesign.com

I’m unable to accept cancellations by phone.


You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help me to improve the service I offer to customers in the future.


If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging, not used and not worn, with all the tags and labels to me, at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage – if the goods have been delivered to you without damage and returned damaged, you will not be refunded.


If you fail to return the goods, I will collect them, and I will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before or during they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, I will charge you for the reduction in value.


I will refund all monies paid to me by you within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.

6. Faulty Goods / Guarantee


If there is a problem with the goods, please notify me by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It’s helpful if you can provide me with a digital photograph of the problem. I will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.


If an exchange is necessary (item is not the right size, etc.), this will be arranged without unreasonable delay. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at my address and checked. You must send the goods back with original labelling, tags and not worn.

The cost of returning goods to me is your responsibility, however on inspection will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty.

If the goods are not faulty, I will return them to you, however you will be required to cover my reasonable postage costs.


No warranty can be provided for any of my products, as their durability depends on usage.

Most of the fabric products have to be washed in 30 degrees, iron in medium heat, do not tumble-dry, do not expose them to direct sunlight and do not mix light and dark coloured fabrics while washing – I cannot take any goods back as faulty abide by these recommendations.

The wooden products cannot be washed in dishwasher or as normal dishes, wipe-clean only with lightly damp or dry cloth.

The china products are dishwasher and microwave safe – unless stated. Please take care when handling as they are fragile and might break.


However should you find that my products to be of poor quality, please let me know to discuss it further as my aim is to improve my services.


Within 14 days, if I have similar replacement goods in stock, I will replace defective goods free of charge, at my discretion, providing that you have returned to me any faulty goods upon request.


If an item is no longer available I will offer an alternative. However my liability will be to replace the faulty goods only and I am unable to guarantee an exact match. In this instance you will have the option of a refund.


Where I replace faulty goods you are responsible for their disposal if they have not previously been returned to me.


I do all my best to guarantee the exact motifs and colours but as this is creative and art, decoration may vary and I am not always able to guarantee the exact colour match due to the nature of the product.

7. Authentic Hungarian Folk Art Guaranteed

I am taking full guarantee of all my goods in order that all are hand-made, authentically produced in accordance to the traditional folk art from Kalocsa, Hungary.

I am also more than happy to make any other kind of Hungarian Folk Art from other parts of or outside of Hungary, also to create any other kind of hand-made, personalized goods – agreed in advance.

8. Use of the Website


You may only use this Website for lawful purposes.


It is prohibited to use, without my prior written consent, copy, reproduce, crawl, frame, republish, download, print, post, distribute, re-post, broadcast, record, transmit, edit, communicate to the public, link to, deep-link into, or distribute in any way the web pages or materials on the website or the computer codes or elements comprising the Website other than solely for your own personal use. You may not use the content of my website for any commercial purposes whatsoever.


All rights, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, in and to this website are owned by or licensed to KrisztinaDesign/Krisztina K Koch.

Your use of the website and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to my intellectual property rights, or that of third parties, in the Website or its contents.


I have placed links on this website to other websites I think you may want to visit. I do not vet these websites and do not have any control over their contents. Except where required by applicable law, I cannot accept any liability in respect of the use of these websites.

With all my best intention that my products sold on this website are designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation, it might occur that, hand-made and following the authentic Hungarian Folk Art, some of my products might not do so fully – please contact me if you find such products as I can improve my product range. I cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
